• What is VenWed?

  VenWed is a wedding venue and vendor marketplace that helps couples discover, compare, and book venues and services with transparent pricing, availability tools, and direct communication. Our goal is to make wedding planning faster, clearer, and more trustworthy for everyone involved.

• What exactly is "The Vault"?

  The Vault is your private, secure wedding command center. Once you find a venue, The Vault houses your contract, your payment schedule, and your communication with the venue in one organized place. No more digging through emails to find out when your next deposit is due.

• Where is VenWed available?

  VenWed currently supports listings in the United States and Canada, with more regions planned. Availability may vary based on venue and vendor participation in each area.

• What's the difference between "Estimated" and "Final" pricing?

  Venues price weddings differently, so each package and add-on carries its own price type. Final means the venue has committed to that price. It may be a flat amount, a per-guest rate, or an hourly rate, but the rate itself is fixed and won't change. Estimated means the venue prices that item based on your specifics and needs to confirm it with you. You'll see it as a range, such as $300 to $2,000, until they do. Before your venue can send a contract, every estimated item has to be confirmed as a real number. That confirmed total is your Final Price, and it's locked into your contract when you sign. If your total is based on a per-guest or hourly rate, it will still move if your guest count or hours change, but always at the rate you agreed to and never a new one.

• Are my payments secure?

  Extremely. We use Stripe, the gold standard in online payments. VenWed never stores your credit card information, and your milestone payments are processed through a secure, encrypted pipeline directly to the venue.
